A small team with a clear, steady purpose
Wispcare was built around a straightforward idea: that families in Taiwan deserve dependable, respectful in-home care for their elders โ delivered by people who genuinely care about the work they do.
โ Back to HomeHow Wispcare came to be
Wispcare grew out of a situation many Taiwanese families know well: an elderly parent living alone, or a primary caregiver in the household who was stretched thin and quietly exhausted. The people who founded this company had encountered that situation firsthand and found that the available options were either overly institutional or simply difficult to trust.
We started small โ building a network of carefully vetted aides and working closely with a handful of families in Taoyuan to understand what good care actually looked like in practice. From those first arrangements, a clear philosophy emerged: care should follow the elder's rhythm, not the other way around.
Today, Wispcare serves families across Taoyuan District and the surrounding area, offering three structured care programs that can be tailored to a wide range of circumstances. Our coordinators remain closely involved with every family we work with, not just at the start, but throughout.

A team that takes this work personally
Lin Chia-Wei
Co-Founder & Care Director
With a background in community health nursing and over a decade working alongside families in northern Taiwan, Chia-Wei brings both clinical grounding and deep empathy to the way Wispcare operates.
Chen Hui-Ling
Head of Family Coordination
Hui-Ling manages the relationship between families and their assigned aides. She is often the first person a family speaks with, and the one who stays in touch throughout the care arrangement.
Wang Ming-Zhe
Aide Training & Standards
Ming-Zhe oversees how aides are recruited, assessed, and supported. He developed the internal standards Wispcare uses to evaluate suitability and ongoing performance.
What we hold ourselves to, in every arrangement
Verified Qualifications
All aides in the Wispcare network hold current care-related qualifications recognised in Taiwan. We verify credentials before any aide is introduced to a family.
Background Verification
Every aide undergoes a formal background check before joining our network. We do not make exceptions here โ the safety of the people in our care is not a negotiable matter.
Individual Care Plans
Each elder we support has a documented care plan that outlines their needs, preferences, and any health considerations the aide must be aware of. This is reviewed and updated regularly.
Privacy & Discretion
Family information, health details, and home circumstances are held strictly in confidence. Our aides and staff are trained on privacy obligations as part of their onboarding.
Regular Plan Reviews
We check in with families at set intervals to see whether the care arrangement is working well and whether any adjustments are needed. An elder's needs can shift, and we move with them.
Insured & Accountable
Wispcare carries appropriate liability coverage for the care work we arrange. Families receive written service agreements with clear terms before care begins.
In-home elder care in Taoyuan โ practical, personal, and built around real families
Across Taiwan, a growing number of families are navigating the challenge of supporting an older family member who wants to stay at home. Whether it is a parent adjusting to reduced mobility, a grandparent managing a chronic health condition, or an elder who simply needs reliable companionship and daily assistance, the need for trustworthy in-home care is real and widespread.
Wispcare was established in Taoyuan with precisely this need in mind. Our approach does not involve transferring your elder to a facility or imposing a rigid institutional framework on their daily life. Instead, trained aides come to the home โ familiar territory โ and work within the rhythms already established there.
Our programs span from weekend respite care (designed for families where a primary caregiver needs scheduled time off) to overnight monitoring services and full-scope holistic care that addresses everything from personal hygiene and nutrition to social engagement and health observations. Each program is sized and structured to address a specific set of family circumstances.
What distinguishes Wispcare from informal arrangements or less structured agencies is the attention we pay to continuity, matching, and ongoing communication. A caregiver who genuinely knows your elder โ their habits, their preferences, their little routines โ provides meaningfully better support than one who is encountering them for the first time on each shift. That continuity of relationship is something we actively protect.
